This Privacy Policy explains how RedRoo Industries ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our websites and mobile applications (the "Apps"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This policy applies to all RedRoo Industries apps distributed via the Apple App Store, Mac App Store, and Google Play Store.
1. Information We Collect
RedRoo Industries is designed to minimise the data we collect. The types of information we may collect depend on which app you use and include:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version. This is collected automatically by analytics and crash-reporting tools to help us diagnose bugs and improve performance.
- Usage Data: Anonymous interaction data such as screens viewed, features used, and session duration. This helps us understand how our apps are used and where to focus improvements.
- Location Data: If you grant permission, approximate or precise location data may be collected to provide location-based features (see Section 3 below).
- Push Notification Tokens: If you opt in to push notifications, we receive a device token to deliver alerts (e.g., fuel price drops). We do not associate these tokens with your identity.
- Purchase Information: If you subscribe to a premium tier (e.g., PumpWatch Pro), purchase records are managed by Apple, Google, and our subscription partner RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Crash Reports: Automatic crash logs including stack traces and device state at the time of a crash, collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve our apps and services.
- To deliver location-based features such as nearby fuel station prices.
- To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g., price drop alerts).
- To diagnose technical issues, fix bugs, and monitor app stability.
- To display advertisements in free-tier apps (where applicable).
- To understand usage patterns so we can build better products.
3. App-Specific Privacy: PumpWatch
PumpWatch is a fuel price comparison app available on iOS and Android. To provide its core features, we may collect the following:
- Location Data: We request your device's location to show nearby fuel stations and prices on the map. If you grant permission, your location data is used to provide these core features. This data may also be shared with our third-party advertising partner (Google AdMob) to serve relevant, location-based advertisements in the free tier. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.
- Fuel Price Preferences: Your selected fuel type and search radius are stored locally on your device.
4. App-Specific Privacy: BrowserBouncer
BrowserBouncer is a utility that runs entirely locally on your macOS device. It does not collect, store, or transmit any of your web links, browsing history, or personal data to us or any third parties.
5. App-Specific Privacy: Nightstand
Nightstand is a bedside clock and alarm app. It runs locally on your device and does not collect or transmit personal data. Any preferences (alarm times, display settings) are stored locally on your device.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
To provide a high-quality experience, some apps integrate third-party services. These services may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in PumpWatch (free tier). AdMob may use device identifiers and location data to serve personalised ads. View Google Ads Privacy Policy

Except as disclosed above, we do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party services we use (such as Firebase, AdMob, and RevenueCat) are operated by companies based in the United States and other countries outside of Australia. By using our apps, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside Australia. These providers maintain their own privacy and security standards, and we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated in accordance with this policy.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Anonymous analytics and crash data is retained in aggregate form and is not linked to individual users.
You may request the deletion of any personal data associated with you by contacting us at support@redrooindustries.au. We will respond to your request within 30 days. You can also:
- Revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
- Opt out of personalised advertising via your device's ad tracking settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Uninstall the app to stop all data collection immediately.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. These measures include using secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmissions and relying on industry-standard security practices provided by our third-party service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as reasonably possible. 11. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate or out-of-date personal information.
- Complaint: Lodge a complaint about how we handle your personal information. We will investigate and respond to your complaint within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our apps after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
